[GREEN POST] TRAVEL \ TRANSPORT arrangement in event management

Before planning an event, we have to consider that our event is going green and is an environment friendly event. Here is some checklist for travel and transport arrangements for the events:

- Encourage use of public transport.
- Use shuttle buses ti and from event to nearest public transport hub.
- Supply transport that ensures minimal empty seats by monitoring  RSVPs and attendance numbers.
- Use hybrid cars or cars that use alternative fuels.
- Offer tele-networking as part of the event, including pod-casting, web-casting and video conferencing.
- For air travels choose direct flights where possible and choose airlines that are active in their green policy.
